The par-72 layout features a single loop of nine holes out and nine back, playing 7,026 yards from the back tees. Designed with the philosophy of ‘least disturbance', the most natural route was taken in laying the course out through the sand dunes. As a result, the golf course has a unusual combination of five par 3s and five par 5s. The speed and direction of the wind cause consistent daily variations in play. Trump Doonbeg was recently ranked at #6 in the top 100 courses in the Republic Of Ireland.
